Firstly, apologies, no I am not in the lounge right now - but though I will be tomorrow (Sydney, at about 1:30-2:30pm)

Anyway here it is for people to start putting in their details if they want it to be known they are in.

Thanks to 777 for the idea so please do not credit me... I don't want to be sued hahaha!

Oh and HAPPY FRIDAY! :p

ps. Is there already a thread for this anyone? I'll delete if I'm in error.

I'm in the DJ lounge thread

At a mods meeting we have decided to reopen this thread to see how it goes. I have renamed it slightly to make it more user friendly for those using smart phones.

Have fun.

I will be in the MEL DJ lounge tomorrow morning (10 July) in time to catch my 8:30am DJ832 flight to Sydney.

Heading to SYD right now. Booked on an 8pm flight to MEL but will be aiming to push that ahead to 5pm or thereabouts. Holler if you're around.

I'll be in the SYD lounge from 3:30pm today for a 5pm flight to BNE.

Will be online, so I can be contacted by pm whilst in the lounge.

I will be in the BNE lounge from about 1.20pm during a 1.5hr layover before flying onto MEL

probably too late for this to be any use now since I'm boarding in 10mins but since I did start this thread I should post to it. Am in the MEL lounge now - will be heading to Brisbane soon... hoping the weather there is much better than it has been here though showers look likely wherever I go

I will allow more time to advise on lounge time when I leave Brisbane on Thursday afternoon!

Hope more people post here.

cheers

I think this thread is demonstrating why the mods were a bit wary. Its turned from a "I'm in the lounge now" to a "I will be in the lounge", which is just a form of the monthly travel threads anyhow..

No it's not. As per the discussion it's being used by people who are in the lounge or will be there in the next 24 hours. That time-frame was explicitly discussed when creating the thread. So far the only off topic post is yours and the one above it. Mods may want to move this comment and yours to the discussion thread if you actually want to debate it.

Will be in the Brisbane Lounge - first time to try it - by 5:45pm today hopefully - flights is at 7pm tonight so will be leaving at 6:30pm

PM me if you will be around and I can send you my number.

If you get delayed, I can catch up with you.

Edit: Forgot to mention, I'll be in the SYD lounge from 3:30pm today for a 5pm flight if anyone wants to catch up.

It'd be a long delay, as I think they were there yesterday. enjoy your flights

Yep sorry Tir I was there yesterday. I quite liked how non-busy it was for an after work flight. Definitely not something I've been used to going back and forth between Sydney and Melbourne. Staff even seemed a tad bit more friendlier.... I will be back there soon though!

Happy Friday people!!!
