Hi, everytime I book with a qantas voucher I cant seem to manage my booking ie check seats/check in etc. I Get message : [h=1]Please review the following items[/h]
  • Please call your Local Qantas Office to redeem your voucher

Print[h=2]The booking comes through on email and thats ok as it seems to be booked. Each time I have to call qantas and they fix this error. Today I called and the consultant said had not seen this before and said I would have to select seats over the phone. Told her this had been fixed before by ringing and she possibly did or checked a few things and suggested I wait a while and try again. So far this has not worked and I suspect wont till they fix at their end. Has anyone else had a similar experience with vouchers?[/h]

There are remarks left behind that it's a voucher. This happens with residual vouchers. You need to call Qantas and ask them to remove the remarks.

Hi and thanks so much for your reply. Rang again, took a couple of goes but all good now. Thanks again for info.

This sometimes happens with me - not with residual vouchers, but vouchers bought and then used to buy flights later on the same day. If I buy a $50 voucher and then redeem it, problems often happen, such as the one above. Other times it does create the flight record but the tax invoice is often not sent, and requests to resend it through the web site create an error.

With my orginal voucher it was fine. I've made another booking with the residual voucher and recieved the same message. I thought it might self correct. Seems I will have to ring them after all. Glad you posted the query, thanks

The self correcting part is that you are now able to book using a residual voucher where as before you couldn't book or manage your booking using a residual voucher.
