Thank you! It's now in my diary to nag, I mean 'remind' my husband at the end of May!

Looks like Westpac is missing from the list, maybe because they have the auto transfer feature now

Yeah, this is what we figured would happen with Westpac bringing in auto transfer. Oh well - might be time to change cards... Although keeping points in westpac and then sending to KF or VA is handy.

This round is particularly significant as it's the last chance prior to the program restructure on June 1.

It's a shame they don't have the 15% discount on redemption's promo running, too.

Ironically; those least loyal are being rewarded for transferring points to the FFP.
Yeah, but isn't it the point of all loyalty programs really to encourage those who are most likely to be disloyal to show some loyalty they wouldn't otherwise show. I know we don't like it but I can certainly see the logic that time and money spent on ensuring the loyalty of people who are already loyal isn't a great economic concept.

I think it's a drug for velocity. They make fast cash when they do these and now they've become so regular it's potentially having side effects.

Existing loyal cc earning users don't receive any benefit for being loyal

If it ultimately all added up - we would see QF doing the exact same thing more regularly too. The fact QF only dabbles in these bonuses suggests to me that they've got the better overall loyalty modelling and there are risks.

Also shows significant lack of business creativity in my opinion.

This is certainly me! I'm in no rush moving my points from Amex MR, so just want to get at least a 15% bonus.

Does anyone else recall if these bonuses have been greater than 15%? I seem to recall seeing 20-30% at some stage but I could be mistaken.

Question. My Amex Points currently move across automatically on the 1st of each month.

Is that a setting I can change to take advantage of something like this?

I'm talking minimal points really. Maybe a couple thousand a month. But 15% still makes a difference.

There are threads back in 2010/2011 referring to a 25% bonus, but in recent years I think 15% is about as good as it gets.

Awesome! Been sitting on my ANZ Rewards points for a while waiting for this.

Edit: sitting on a very round 40,000 points just by chance! How's that for nice numbers.
