This thread is a great addition and I've used it frequently, but I did have to go searching for one of the IFE threads to update last week (it was back about 5 pages). As IFE is an ongoing discussion, may pay to have a link here before it slides back too far again ;). Thanks for the effort!

I know someone has developed a table of Status Credit earn rates, best routes to earn SC, and approximate value of SC. That would be good to add here.

Under Velocity section, maybe a link to the Shop and Not Earn thread to track a history of points awarding problems. (Perhaps even merging the Stawberrynet thread as well.....very similar issues).

Thank You..Very Useful Information As We Are Planning On Using Virgin At Xmas Time

Trying to get through to Velocity so I called both 13 6789 and 07 3295 2296 - phone answers and asks me to input Velocity number after which just nothing happens. Common problem? Is there alternative number to call would anybody know?

Edit: Sorry I know those numbers are for Virgin but I need check a rdpt and those are the numbers Velocity throw up.

Maybe try 13 18 75 or 02 8667 5924?

... but they are indeed having technical issues; just gave it a try and no option to enter FF number, just press 2 for PS etc ...

Yes, VA check in is at the far west of T3 ... once back out side it's maybe a 60 metre walk from there to the doors of TBIT.

Ah huh thanks for that - just repeat actions of exactly 12mths ago huh? Thought there may have been a change.

hey serfty dude - are VA rdpt seats releases exact time of a certain day same like QF? If YES - time pls?

I haven't been able to ascertain that other than if they are going to be released they are there 'when I wake up".

Until recently there had been no need to be more refined other than being aware of the 331 day date.

Is this what people do? I can't see a specific thread and never used VA before for reward bkig. Looking at quick bkg for my relo this Saturday - SYD - PER - SYD.

They only have a few points so it seems a reasonable use. I see points plus pay is <40 K no more to pay.

Attn ALL - tomorrow morn at ~08:30 I will be cancelling 2 x J rdpt flts LAX-BNE on Oct 5 - I have no idea if these go back into pot or whatever but they will be cancelled - here's hoping some other AFFer might be able to pick them up if it suits.

Is it possible to convert Virgin Lounge passes in your Velocity account to physical passes so as to afford family and friends access rather than see them expire?

I don't know of any way to do so.

Not sure physical passes actually exist in any formal fashion.

No, not possible. The lounge pass holder must be present at the lounge to grant access to the guests.
