25% bonus Velocity Points

Have been sent an email offer to transfer card points to Velocity before 30/11 and receive a bonus 25% Velocity Points. Seems to be very tempting given the dilution of PS and QP benefits (already have PP as part of Amex Platinum CC). I do note however, that redeeming DJ points is subject to payment of additional taxes, so even if the redemption rate is lower than equivalent sector redemption on other programmes, there is still a got you.

Oh, what to do (other than wait for the 50% bonus point offer - are you reading this DJ?)?

25% bonus Velocity Points

I can't tell you where as I'm on my iPhone but there is another thread from a few days ago. There's been a note on the Velocity Rewards website for about a week about the offer.

There is no need to pay for taxes, two redemption amounts are quoted. One is the base fare + taxes in cash or 100% points.

Virginia, I think VA's 94k + cash is a return flight, whereas the QFF flight isn't return.
