Hi All,

Has anyone heard about people booking return business class flights between Hobart and Bali (It may work for other flights)? I have seen many posts on facebook displaying that they have booked return business class flights for $100 per person. Doesn't seem at all real, and people are saying all you need is a velocity account and select flights that use points to pay for the flights.

So I thought I would have a look to see what all the fuss is about. I'm a Qantas Frequent Flyer, but decided to join up with Velocity last night to see if I could do the same. I was able to select return business class flights for myself and my fiance between Hobart and Bali for $230. So just in case this is not error (although I feel it is), I purchased the tickets. The $230 comprises of only the taxes and the it seems like the flights are for free.

My itinerary has been received from Virgin Australia so it all looks true and proper.

Has anyone else seen this? Maybe its a fault with their new booking system?

Thanks!

Justin

Sounds like a fault. So did it cost you points as well? If not, let's hope they honour ut!

oooooooooh - Virgin's first mistake fare?! Interesting to see if they honour it!

There is nothing on the VA facebook page about it....

I booked these as well flying September, for both of us, about $244 total. Flying HBA-MEL-PER-DPS, and on the way back DPS-BNE-HBA, all business class (seats selected on all legs except MEL>PER as it won't let me).
