online booking price goes up if you time out and try to rebook

i have noticed that several times I have tried to book a flight online on virgin (going all the way to payment but not paying) that after timing out for whatever reason that the price I wanted for a particular flight goes up the next time I try to book again...

it could be that the fare bucket has gone up but it seems to be only affecting the actual flight that I want to catch. It never seem to affect the adjacent flights....

Maybe im paranoid
