Why get a business credit card?
If you run a business, there are several reasons you might consider getting a business credit card. For example, you may be able to issue employee cards. In addition, they can help with your business’s cash flow and accounting. And some come with complimentary travel insurance that also covers your employees when they travel for business.
Many Aussie business cards also award points when you make payments to the ATO, without needing to use a third-party bill payment service.
As an added perk, some of the Qantas Business Rewards cards on the market have epic sign-up bonus point offers! For example, you could earn up to 200,000 bonus Qantas Points just from a single business card application.
To give you an idea of the value, it would cost 164,000 Qantas Points + $624 in taxes & carrier charges for a return Qantas Classic Reward ticket in Business Class from Sydney to Honolulu! You could even fly around the world with up to five stopovers in Economy Class for 132,400 Qantas Points, plus taxes and carrier charges.
To qualify for a business credit card, you would need an Australian Business Number (ABN). In some cases, your business might need to be registered for GST.
