Earn KrisFlyer Miles for Restaurant Bookings

Did you know that you could be earning Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles every time you reserve a table at a restaurant?

That’s because the KrisFlyer loyalty program partners with Quandoo, a platform for restaurant bookings.

Quandoo users were previously able to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points for each restaurant booking made using the Quandoo website or App. However, Qantas and Quandoo ended their partnership on 1 April 2023.

KrisFlyer is a popular loyalty program among Australian frequent flyers because it offers very good award availability and low charges on Singapore Airlines redemption bookings.

Although you would need to make quite a lot of restaurant bookings to earn enough KrisFlyer miles for a free flight, every little bit helps. For example, they could supplement any KrisFlyer miles that you transfer from a credit card rewards program or from Velocity Frequent Flyer.

How many KrisFlyer miles can you earn?

You can earn 100 KrisFlyer miles for every honoured restaurant reservation when booking through Quandoo.

You’ll also earn 25 KrisFlyer miles for leaving a review after dining at a restaurant you booked through the platform.

From time to time, Quandoo also offers bonus points during special promotions. There are also various referral bonuses available.

If your Quandoo account is not linked to a frequent flyer program, you would instead earn Quandoo Loyalty Points which can be redeemed for cashback.

To earn KrisFlyer miles with Quandoo, you would first need to sign up for a free Quandoo account.

It doesn’t (yet) seem to be possible to link your Quandoo account to your KrisFlyer account on the Australian version of the Quandoo website or App. However, if you log in to the Singaporean version of Quandoo’s website, you can link your accounts under the “Profile” settings. Scroll down to the “Partnerships” section on your Profile page:

Link Quandoo and KrisFlyer accounts on the Quandoo Singapore website
Link your KrisFlyer account to your Quandoo account at quandoo.sg.

Once your accounts are linked, this will be marked in your Quandoo account profile:

Confirmation of linked accounts on the Quandoo website

Just noticed under my Quandoo account profile that KrisFlyer can now be linked to it as a partner

How do you do this? I just tried but couldn't find an option to link KrisFlyer.

Yes, had the same road block so I Googled it and a link popped up. Seems to have worked. It would be a handy route to keep points alive if SQ drop their draconian hard expiry rule.

Edit: if you go to the .sg site and login with your AU credentials, then go to “Profile”. There should be the option to add KF details.

Is that the SIN website? Or Quandoo.com.au? There’s no “Partnership” tab on the AU website. There did used to be something to link to QFF.

Yes, you’re right. It‘s in the app! I didn’t see that after your initial post.

OK, so I tried logging in using the Singaporean website (Book a Table at Your Favourite Restaurants | Quandoo) and it worked!

I added my KrisFlyer details on the website, and it's now showing my linked KrisFlyer account in the app under "Partnerships".

Thanks for the heads-up @AIRwin 🙂
