Etihad Airways currently has some great limited-time Business Class sale fares available from Australia to Copenhagen, with return flights available from $4,820 return on the Etihad website.
Etihad flies from Sydney and Melbourne to Abu Dhabi, with onward connections available to destinations all over Europe. With this particular sale fare, you’d fly with Etihad to Amsterdam or Brussels and then connect onwards with KLM or Brussels Airlines (respectively) to Copenhagen.
For example, you could book the following Etihad Airways Business Class itinerary for $4,842 return on the Etihad website:
Google Flights also shows lower prices available for booking through various online travel agents (OTAs). You could save a bit more money by booking through one of those OTAs, but this is at your own risk.
If crediting the flights to Velocity Frequent Flyer, the above itinerary would earn you at least 27,868 Velocity points (or more if you have Velocity status). You could also earn 560 Velocity status credits.
Fares out of Melbourne to Copenhagen are slightly cheaper than those from Sydney:
Some, but not all, of the sale itineraries have a long transit time in Abu Dhabi. An optional free stopover in Abu Dhabi of up to 21 days is also permitted with this fare.
The capital of Denmark, Copenhagen is a great destination in its own right. It’s also a good gateway for onward travel to other parts of Europe, with Copenhagen Airport being a hub for SAS, Norwegian Air Shuttle and easyJet.
The cheap tickets are available for selected travel dates between now and 1 December 2023. These are mid-week fares available on flights departing between Sundays and Thursday afternoons (i.e. not on Thursday evenings, Fridays or Saturdays). These fares book into “Z” class, so there must be availability in that Reservation Booking Designator (RBD).
This sale ends on Tuesday, 13 June 2023. You can book until then on the Etihad website or through travel agents.
