Jetlag
Busting Tricks |
There
are countless great things about
international travel, but jetlag isn't one
of them! Long-haul flying and crossing
multiple time zones leaves many travellers
exhausted, yet unable to sleep at night.
One member recently flew from Sri Lanka to
Australia. Despite flying Business class,
they felt wrecked once they got home and
took almost a week to recover from their
jetlag. They're now questioning whether it's
worth travelling overseas at all.

Qantas
Launches its Own Credit Card |
Qantas
has expanded its
ever-growing frequent flyer
empire into the competitive
credit card market with the
launch of the airline's own
credit card. The Qantas
Premier card, which is
underwritten by Citibank,
offers a reasonably
competitive earn rate and
various other perks,
including airport lounge
passes. But not everyone is
convinced it's worth the
$299 annual fee. For more...

Emirates
Cancels SYD-AKL A380 Flights |
Emirates
will stop flying from Sydney
to Auckland next month.
Emirates currently flies a
daily A380 on the route,
while its partner Qantas
operates 5x daily Boeing 737
flights. In Emirates'
absence, Qantas will
up-gauge two of its daily
flights to a wide body
Airbus A330. EK418 and EK419
will continue to operate
from Dubai to Sydney via
Bangkok, but will now
terminate in Sydney more...

Exclusive
Online Event:
Best Credit Cards for Frequent Flyers |
On 1
July, the RBA's new interchange fee
regulations will take effect. These changes
have led to banks slashing credit card
points left, right and centre. Lower earning
rates, restrictive point caps and an
ever-shrinking range of credit cards that
award points for tax payments are making it
much more difficult to maximise your credit
card points haul.
Credit cards have long been a hugely popular
way to earn frequent flyer points on
everyday expenses. The game may be changing,
but there is still plenty of value
in the Australian credit card market
if you know where to look!
Frequent Flyer Solutions will hold its next
live online webinar at 8pm (AEST)
on Thursday, 29 June 2017 to
explain how you can still maximise your
frequent flyer points in Australia's
ever-changing credit card environment.
