| Virgin Australia is currently offering a status match to federal government employees with Qantas Frequent Flyer status. Until 31 July, Virgin will match your Qantas status allowing you to sample the perks of Velocity Frequent Flyer status for twelve months at no cost. |

| It is now possible to buy Qantas points on the Qantas website. The airline has also slightly increased the amount of top-up Qantas points that members can purchase. | Qantas Brings 747s on Domestic Flights |
| Qantas will start using Boeing 747s on domestic flights from the end of this month. The jumbo jet will serve the trans-continental Sydney-Perth route and some lucky Qantas frequent flyers will be able to score a free upgrade to a Premium Economy seat! | Commonwealth Bank has increased its CommBank Awards airline and hotel transfer partners overnight from 2 to 12! | The transfer rates from Amex Membership Rewards to the new combined SPG/Marriott Rewards program have been revealed. The changes to Amex transfers to SPG, taking effect from 1 August 2018, are not pretty!
