Delays with Jetstar Points & Status Credits |
When flying Jetstar, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn Qantas points and status credits by purchasing a Starter or Max Bundle. But, in recent months, these points and status credits have been taking an unacceptably long time to post. In many cases, points and status credits from Jetstar flights are not crediting at all without manual intervention.
There are two key problems here. The first issue is the amount of time it's taking for points and status credits earned on Jetstar to be posted to Qantas Frequent Flyer members' accounts. Many AFF members have experienced delays of up to 8 weeks - and in some cases even longer.

Velocity Devalues KrisFlyer Transfers |
The ability to transfer Virgin Australia Velocity points to Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles is a hugely popular benefit of the Velocity Frequent Flyer program. Sadly, the number of Velocity points you'll need to transfer to KrisFlyer will increase significantly from next year. You can currently convert Velocity points to KrisFlyer miles - or vice versa - at a rate of 1.35:1. This means that you'll need to spend 135,000 Velocity points in order to receive 100,000 more... |

Save on Flights within South America |
Flights within South America are typically very expensive. But by redeeming miles or points, you can save a small fortune! Aegean Airlines, a member of Star Alliance, sells its frequent flyer miles. In fact, this month Aegean is offering 50% bonus miles. This is worth knowing because award flights within South America are a sweet spot in the Aegean Miles+Bonus award chart. |
