Dan Murphy’s is popular with wine-loving Australian Frequent Flyer members for its wide range of alcoholic beverages and regular deals – many of which are shared on AFF’s dedicated Dan Murphy’s Wine Deals thread.
But did you know that you can also save at least an additional 5% off anything sold at Dan Murphy’s?
The trick is to purchase Woolworths or WISH e-gift cards online via the Cashrewards website. Cashrewards is free to join, and sells Woolworths gift cards for 5% off the face value of the voucher. These vouchers can then be redeemed at retailers owned by the Woolworths Group including Woolworths supermarkets, Big W, Caltex, BWS, Cellarmasters and Dan Murphy’s. Gift cards do not have an expiry date.

Cashrewards also offers up to 4% cash back for online Dan Murphy’s purchases. The discount varies depending on the type of product purchased, with the maximum 4% cashback reserved for wine purchases.
And yes, you can get the cashback when paying with a Dan Murphy’s or WISH gift card. If you’ve purchased a WISH card at a 5% discount, that represents a saving of up to 9% in total!
My Dan’s loyalty program
Dan Murphy’s also offers a loyalty program called My Dan’s. It’s free to join, and members can receive exclusive, personalised offers. Scanning your loyalty card at Dan Murphy’s will also place you in a draw to win a monthly share of gift cards.
Disappointingly, My Dan’s does not offer loyalty points. But there is some speculation that Dan Murphy’s could join Woolworths’ new Everyday Rewards loyalty program at some point in the future. This would enable customers to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer points.
In the meantime, you can still get some very good deals on alcohol and up to 9% worth of discounts & cash back at Dan Murphy’s.
