Accor has launched a new partnership with National Australia Bank (NAB), allowing NAB Rewards cardholders to transfer their points to Accor Live Limitless (ALL). NAB Rewards members can also get a 10% discount at Accor hotels, and there’s even a status fast-track offer available.

Accor Live Limitless is the loyalty program of Accor hotels, including brands like Sofitel, Pullman, Peppers, Sebel, Mantra, Ibis, Novotel and Mercure.

Here’s what you need to know about the new partnership between NAB and Accor…

Transfer NAB Rewards points to Accor Live Limitless

NAB Rewards points can already be transferred to Velocity, Cathay, Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer, Air New Zealand Airpoints and Flybuys.

In addition, NAB Rewards points can now also be converted to Accor ALL points at a 6:1 rate. You need to transfer at least 3,000 NAB Rewards points at a time.

Unlike with most loyalty programs, Accor Live Limitless points have a fixed value whereby 2,000 ALL points are worth a €40 discount off any hotel booking. That’s around $66 in Australian Dollars at the current exchange rate.

This means that if you transfer 12,000 NAB Rewards points to ALL, you’ll get 2,000 ALL points which are worth approximately $66.

By comparison, 12,000 NAB Rewards points would get you 6,000 Velocity Frequent Flyer points or 4,000 Singapore Airlines KrisFlyer miles. You might be able to get more than $66 by redeeming those Velocity points or KrisFlyer miles for flights, but the ALL transfer rate isn’t bad.

You can earn up to 1 NAB Rewards point per $1 spent on a NAB Rewards Platinum credit card, or 1.25 NAB Rewards points per dollar on the NAB Rewards Signature card.

NAB Rewards is also offering an auto-redemption option where your NAB points are automatically converted into ALL points every week. You don’t have to opt-in to this to transfer NAB Rewards points to Accor ALL. But if you do, there is a status fast-track available! (See below for more on this.)

10% discount at Accor hotels

With this partnership, all NAB Rewards cardholders can also get 10% off flexible rates at participating Accor hotels in Australia, New Zealand, Fiji and Tahiti.

To access the 10% Accor hotel discount, you would need to book on a dedicated webpage that can be accessed via the NAB Rewards Store. You’d also need to use your NAB Rewards credit card to guarantee the accommodation booking.

The discount is not available on the cheaper non-refundable booking options.

Accor Silver & Gold status fast-track offers

NAB Rewards cardholders who choose to have their points automatically converted every week into ALL points can access an easy fast-track to Accor Live Limitless status! This offer applies to both new and existing NAB Rewards cardholders.

If you have a NAB Rewards Signature card, you can get ALL Gold status by staying just one eligible night at an Accor hotel. If you have the cheaper NAB Rewards Platinum card, this gets you a fast-track to ALL Silver status after staying just one night.

You’ll then get to keep this status until the end of the next calendar year. Plus, you’ll get to keep your ALL status as long as you stay at least one night each year and continue to automatically convert your NAB Rewards points into ALL points.

The full terms and conditions are available on the Accor website.

Sign-up bonus point offers

For a limited time, you can also get up to 30,000 ALL points when you sign up for a NAB Rewards Signature credit card. You can get 20,000 ALL points when you spend $3,000 within 60 days, and another 10,000 ALL points if you keep your card open for at least a year.

30,000 Accor Live Limitless points are worth €600 (~AU$990) worth of hotel accommodation.

You could also get up to 20,000 bonus ALL points by signing up for a NAB Rewards Platinum card.

The partnership between Qantas & Accor

Qantas Frequent Flyer also partners with Accor’s loyalty program.

As part of that partnership, Qantas Frequent Flyer members can earn bonus points when staying at selected Accor hotels, as well as earning ALL points for flying Qantas. There’s also an ALL Silver status fast-track available to Qantas Frequent Flyer members.

You can also get instant ALL Silver status and a shortcut to the higher Accor status tiers with an Accor Plus membership.

Interesting, thanks. As both a NAB card holder and an ALL member, while initially sounding attractive, in detail it's not so much for me.

Does the fast track include the Nab Qantas Signature?

Would this fast track also work if I had previously been gold with Accor?

Does someone want to inform Accor of this typo on their website? 😝

Should be 30,000 points.
