This week our members discuss their favourite part of the flying experience.
For some members, the pre-flight anticipation is top of their list. The excitement building in the night before a flight and arriving at the airport fills some members with glee.
One member hopes that the novelty of flying never wears off as the whole experience continues to excite. A good take-off and the anticipation of the adventures ahead is a favourite amongst our members. Some members love the complete isolation that a flight requires with the enforced abstinence from email and phones. The landing and the view from above of a new city waiting to be explored sends some members hearts aflutter.
A love of luxury on their flight motivates some members as they savour the moment. The pre-take off champagne and the in-flight service, tops the list for some Business and First class travelers. Reclining a seat into a flat-bed is one member’s personal top moment.
For some members flying is not about the journey but the destination. For one member, making the pages of “National Geographic” a reality is the desired outcome of flying. For another, landing in a foreign country waiting to be explored is the ultimate flying experience.
