Hi,
am flying J on QF107 SYD-LAX on a wednesday in Aug12.
I also have a toddler on lap.

Any recommendations re seat selection to enhance chances of having a spare seat beside me?

Currently in 11J hoping 11K stays free (people scared off from booking seat next to basinette seat perhaps??)
Or would one the edge of one of the middle rows in Lower Deck and hope the middle is not taken be a better bet?
Not sure if travelling on a wednesday may mean lighter J loads for LAX

Any thoughts/theories much appreciated!

Cheers

They usually try and allocate seats next to infants last. I suggest getting an aisle seat in the row of three downstairs, and don't do OLCI. Checkin at an actual desk as they will sometimes move other pax around to to get a free seat.
