Adding a baby to a reward booking

On SIA it's not possible when redeeming a flight to add a baby (0-2 years old) to the booking.

I've read elsewhere that it's possible to call them up and they'll add the baby to the booking for 10% of the ticket price (presumably in $$ rather than points).

Does anyone here have any experience with that? Just worried about the chances it'll go sour.

Yes, weve done it with no issues.

Same. Did this for grand-baby's ticket, no issues.

I did this quite a few times with SQ and TG. No issues adding infant.
