I hope you both have a great time Simongr and Must Fly.

If either of you are interested, I may be able to arrange a hot lap in the pace car in the morning. I usually do it but sadly +1 is as interested in F1 as I am in dress making so we are having a champagne breakfast.

He's even returning to Italy early, so missing out on DXB.

That would just add to the awesomeness!

Good on you Bossreggie for putting it on and simongr for going down this path of sharing it. I share BR's partner's lack of interest in F1 so no biggie for me. However I hope you all enjoy yourselves immensely.

25 years ago I would have been all over this offer. I was right into the F1, with many a late night during my last 2 years of high school and first few years of Uni. Piquet, Prost Mansell and Senna. I was all over it. I lost interest after Senna, really. Anyway, I can just remember my excitement from back then, so enjoy.

I was so caught up in the winning feeling and looking for flights that I lost track of the time and was late for uni! But I didn't mind as I had the most stupid grin on my face the whole time. I had to log in to AFF on my phone a few times in class to make sure I didn't dream the whole thing!

I am incredibly excited, thank you very much bossreggie for being so generous to the community time and time again and to simongr for running the competition. I have just booked my flights and really can't wait for Sunday. While attending races is not too uncommon for me since my first race in 2009 (I try to go once a year, this year it will now be twice), experiences like this don't come along every day and I am sure I will cherish it for a long time.

Thanks for all the well-wishers too, I am sure it will be a blast!

I will be doing a "trip report" on the event and have snagged a more decent camera for pics (just need to free up some space on the iPad to download pics on the day).

Yes I think I shall have to do a trip report too, or at least take a few pictures! The next 2 weeks will be insane for me, juggling uni, work and two GPs in two countries in two weekends. Fun times! :)

I hope you both have a great time Simongr and Must Fly.

I agree with simongr! If it can be organised I would be all for it bossreggie!!
