Another Qantas Business Rewards cc offer. $89 annual fee per cardholder.

0.3 points per dollar on government spend.
1 bonus point per dollar on Qantas spend.
QBR transfers to QFF.
12 month exclusion clause.

#Bonus Qantas Points offer commences 3 September 2018. To be eligible for 80,000 bonus Qantas Points offer, you must apply for a new Bendigo Bank Qantas Platinum or Bendigo Bank Qantas Business Mastercard by 31 October 2018, be approved and spend $2,500 on everyday purchases within 90 days of opening your account. Bendigo Bank may vary or end this offer. Points will be credited to your points balance within three months of meeting the spend criteria. Minimum monthly repayments required.

NB. Can't find anything on the website about the Qantas Platinum MC

Got the email but don't really have a business to apply for one. Regardless, the experiences of others in applying for the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank personal card would suggest that they were very difficult to deal with, hence I would imagine this to be no different. Apply at your peril! :p

Was looking at this just then. Good for the points bonus but the earn rate is pretty poor after than on general expenses?
I've got a business but I was wondering if I'd get knocked back as my income for the last two years has been relatively low. I must have a good credit rating though as I've held cards forever and never defaulted on anything.

I received the email this morning and followed the link to apply, because...why not?

However, it doesn't look like you can apply on-line for the Business Card which is really annoying. I really don't have it in me to talk to a consultant today.

Yes I know what you mean. If they don't want people to apply this is how you do it.
"If you're listening, Bendigo Bank..."

80,000 QFF for $149 is pretty good. If I was in my purchase zone, I would go for this as a churn and burn, given the ongoing rate of 0.6 QFF per dollar is piss poor.

I've never applied for this card, but reports from previous thread suggest they are tough on applications:

Bendigo Bank Qantas Platinum MC: 60K bonus / $149 AF / ends 15/06/18 (Updated)

I can't see where the required annual income is stipulated.
Not stated. No limit if previously received information is still current.

Don't forget reduced to $69 if entitled to shareholder benefits.

I just got rejected for the first time ever. My Equifax score is low 600s but all other factors are strong.

Seems they blindly look at Equifax score and nothing else.

EDIT: Wish I read the other thread before applying, seems lots of people in the same boat. Now I copped an enquiry for nothing...

I've never been game to look at a credit score. Don't fancy handing my info to the Russians. That may be overly paranoid but it's got me this far...

Wow, how annoying!

Has anyone applied for this? Looks like I will have to go into a branch to do so. Wondering if anyone has had experience with the process.

I am not sure of my exact Equifax number, but I earn well over $150K, no dependent, a modest mortgage, and a few of credit cards (not carrying any balance though as I pay the balance off every month). But I do have about 10 credit cards opened (and closed) over the past 12-18 months. I have been with Bendigo Bank for about 18 years, but despite all that, when I applied for their Qantas card I got rejected straight away (it was an automatic rejection; no human interaction required :-) )!!

This was right after they announces the product. Since then I have moved all my banking (both personal and business) to a different bank and have closed all my accounts with Bendigo.

Hope you told them exactly why you did this.

Yep, sure did. I went to a branch to close the accounts and told them exactly why I was moving elsewhere. They offered to sit down with me to see what they could do to change my mind. I told them I tried to contact their “ccapps” department but had not heard back, and it was too late to change my mind. I told them had their ccapps department got back to me, I would have inclined to stay.

By the way, I only applied for the personal card as I was told it was a much simpler process (which I was rejected for anyway).

I was told the Business card is treated like a "business line of credit" and therefore it requires a multi-multi-page application form (needing multiple years of tax returns, multiple quarterly income/loss statements prepared by an accountant, etc).
