The Blade Experience
Texted on arrival at JFK with drivers details.
Picked up in SUV and driven to Blade Terminal.
Smooth check-in and boarding process.
Managed to score the jump seat !!!
Weather not the best but JFK-Hudson Yards in 5 minutes. Views to die for.
Sneaky G&T on arrival.
Can’t go back to a yellow cab now
11/10 would do again
I’d actually craft my transits in JFK around this avoiding evenings and weekend.

Do you have to book, or is it cheaper to, or just first come first served? Do they wait to fill the craft before they leave?

If you have checked bags it’s not worthwhile, way too expensive. The baggage limit is 25lbs total across all of your baggage. I had a Rimowa Cabin Classic and a Goyard tote which together were dead in the line for the limit. They didn’t weigh my carry on but you definitely can’t take big bags. The service is aimed at Business travelers HLO.

I actually have a short video of flying around the tip of Manhattan but I’m technologically challenged and can’t figure out how to post it tonight. I’ll give it another go tomorrow.
One of the other downsides of Blade is that their schedule isn’t ideal for transcon flights into Manhattan.
To get this transfer I had to catch the 0600 from LAX. Have been up since 0300 and now a zombie
