I've got an economy reward seat booked next week mid afternoon but due to changing circumstances have to travel in the morning instead, naturally at late notice there are no economy reward seats available in the morning but plenty of Biz.
Normally when changing an economy seat on VA you get stung the 4,500 point charge, however my question is has anybody managed to avoid this by ringing up and asking to be moved to a business reward seat? (obviously chipping in the point differential)?
