Denali Demo and Rebuild

Another day, another random person walking into our site to be a sticky beak.

Apparently he was 'just driving by'..... and??? Decided to trespass? If our builder doesn't provide fencing until March 31st I might buy two or three fence sections and block our driveway.

Don't suppose your monitoring system can broadcast, on detection "INTRUDER DETECTED! RELEASE THE DOGS, RELEASE THE DOGS!"

Surely the builder will have good fencing. Have you mentioned all the intruders you are experiencing?

We haven't asked yet, was waiting for Demo documentation to forward to builder and then ask when fencing will be installed.

What are they possibly interested in? It’s just dirt.

Hubby went to the electrician (30yr friend) to pay for the power disconnect and was told he and a business owner next door was discussing our lot by chance today. Business owner drove by and noticed. Maybe our lot is magical, like Narnia but instead of a wardrobe, it's colorbond fencing that draws you in?

Some pics from disconnect.

The money is buried in the back yard under the Big W.

Turned into our driveway yesterday, because I started parking at the entrance to stop randoms from accessing site, and saw this. Sediment Control installed. Getting closer to site handover and pier work starting.

Ive also decided to have some of our furniture refurbished by a local person as it was well built pieces and seemed silly to buy new again.

This is the first piece, a bit more white wash that clear lacquer in person. I'm not sure about the white nobs (looking at other options) but love how its lighter. The bedframe is amazing (will post pics when I get them)

This mornings random people wandering around our block ended up being the surveyors who are pegging. I have to learn to firstly identify myself as the owner because the "snoopy neighbour" look is strong until they realise who we are and then builders people are friendly.

I'm told piering will be next week. Its wonderful to see a start as we demo'd March 1st so eager to start.
