I'll be flying DFW-BNE in J soon and I see on the QF website that I'll be able to order my food in advance with extra choices. Can anyone who's used this option report back on how well it works?

I tried to order it at 15 hours out but the option had already disappeared, even though it said I could order as late as 12 hours out.

In the end I'm not sure it made any difference to be honest.
