Free wine? Or free flights with expensive wine?

@MELso Sounds like those reward flights come with a case of wine too!
Ha! Yes, my liver is going to hate me, but those 48 hours are going to be a challenge to see how much soft product I can consume (Hennessy Paradis cognac also beckons 😊). A whole case might be a challenge, but hopefully I'll get through plenty of Dom (even better still if it's the P2) and a few glasses of decent Bordeaux and Burgundy...

Did not forget the Château d’Yquem!

Well done!

The 28.3K points I got from dropping $430 on a dozen Yalumba went a long way to an F award from MEL to FCO on EK via SIN and DXB. Very much looking forward to bottomless Dom vintage champagne for almost two days, as well as playing the Great Wine Hunt in the EK Flounge in DXB. Yes, the award was 227.5K points (and $1.9K *gulp*), but that's basically a couple of credit card churns and a case of wine.

(Is it a worry that I now price classic rewards by their cost in credit card churns and cases of wine? 🧐)
EK does that but worth the experience. I just flew J on QF SYD-BKK, J on Finnair in their new seats via Helsinki to Rome and J from Rome to BKK on RJ via Amman. People still cant fathom how i did that for 360k points and $1k AUD. Admittedly if those points were all from wine it would have cost me 7k but i would have 200 bottles of $30 wine but i had collected alot from prior card churning.

Call and have a chat, can't hurt: someone else's experience here in the main qff wine thread.

As for the voucher, looks good! 👍

On the phone to them now. The person I am speaking to has no idea what I am talking about!

Bizarrely their On Hold music is the same as ACT Health's.

Anyhow, mystery solved as the promotion started on 5 October and I ordered on 2 October.
