I called QR regarding not being able to receive OTPs as part of MFA and apparently there is a system wide issue in Australia where local carriers aren't delivering OTPs. Has anyone else had issues with not being able to receive OTPs?

Took me quite a while to work out what your abbreviations mean and even now I'm not sure if I have got it right. But I'll take a stab...

I logged on to my Qatar Privilege Club account just this morning and, as part of Multi Factor Authentication yes, I did receive a One Time Password and was able to log on to my account. However, I received the password by email only.

Apologies if I have your abbreviations wrong and you're actually asking about something else entirely!

You got most of it right! Correct, I previously received OTPs via email but it looks like at some point they switched me over to my phone number and it seems like there is some issue receiving OTPs via SMS within Australia (at least what I've been told).

Just wondering whether anyone else had issues with the SMS OTP. No choice to switch over to email strangely enough. Not even via the phone.

Was having that problem with only getting OTP via email but got both this afternoon.
I have been on their site a lot in the last few days getting seats for three new award flights

The incidence of delayed OTP delivery by Txt and by email is frequently quite delayed for at least the past 4-5 months. Sometimes I've had to request resend of an OTP numerous times before one finally comes through on either Gmail or Txt.
