As discussed elsewhere on the forum, the Earth+ card has changed to Earth Gold and Westpac have also introduced a new Earth Platinum card with a higher earn rate and discounted annual fee in the first year. Full details of both products are now on the Earth website.

The Earth line has certainly changed a lot. It started out as a low cost, low rate, travellers card. Now it's pretty much just another FF card, and not even all that great value.

Yes, I agree Seawolf. The earth range was also basically a card for first time users that simplified the wording and made it look attractive.

I've had my earth card for neally a year with my first year waived. Old members still pay only $49/annum so with the little spend I put through it, but my supplementary user puts a lot more through so it's still a great little card for me with a low fee.
