To all the newly-minted Platinum One frequent flyers out there... I'm curious to hear... what's been your experience so far?

Anything different?

Free upgrades?

... or all hype?

Does anyone know how to review your flying statistics? Not just current year but whole of QF traveller life.

You can request a full flight history from QF. Iirc it costs some number of points

I did this several years ago (maybe 5?). I contacted QFF and there was no charge. I think I was WP at the time.

Well tickle me pink. Another VIP upgrade this evening. That's 3/3 on recent domestic flights (my first domestic flights in a long while). QF clearly know I don't enjoy sitting down the back. I think I need to go and buy a lotto ticket now.

Have been monitoring the last few flights on the IPAD and I’ve been the only P1 on most lately. 2 CLs on this evenings mel Syd and I’m the solo P1.

I still think we are slightly special.

How Do you get that information?
If the FAs have their iPad open to the right page, it'll show the number of pax in each status class.

On long haul flights, it's usually on the sheet of paper they use to take meal orders, which will be hanging up in the galley.

Me, waiting for the bathroom by the galley, since I first realised this:

Nice earn Kiwi flyer!! I tried to order new P1 bag tags as the current tags have mostly disintegrated. I havent requested new tags for over 3 years and was told I could have ONE tag only.
Hmmmm. I also asked for a current member card as mine shows expired and was told that it would still work. What the???This is through the VIP loyalty centre in the Phillipines. I know this because of the accent and the chickens in the background....

Then it was NOT the VIP Team. Tgey are based in HBA.

Also one bag tag (aka coaster) has been the norm for years now.
