Are you looking at the pay with points option?
As these will always be dearer. Award flights are the cheaper version.
500k points vs 140k points on award flight. You just don't get points for the flight.

Are you looking at classic rewards? When you key in your destinations and dates there should be an option for use points classic rewards only.
