Do QF offer this on a domestic route?

Friends recently told me they flew PE from Perth - Brisbane - 2-3 weeks ago

Is this a aircraft swap out or a new service?

No they don't. It was possible to book PE using points on QF8 from BNE-SYD but that route no longer exits.

Perhaps they were in Business but on one of the A330s with what's basically PE seating.
