Rockfords discussion

I called the winery about the '17 BP. Yes, available as a 're-release' not a 'museum release'. There's a bit there.

They haven't been able to convince the on-line form to accommodate it though 🤦‍♂️

I can pick up your allocation on Sunday and keep it until you are in Adelaide if you want

Unlike some others, my list is considerably smaller, but expect it might have to do with using up all my allocation on the applicable wines. For instance, I see no Alicante, but purchased 48 bottles of the '23 vintage - perhaps that's my allocation? I did collect an extra 6 bottles of Dry Country yesterday, and now that has slipped off my order form as well. Not seeing BP or SBS, and the magnum of BP I usually buy each year I think is an August thing? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The only new wine for me is the '21 Moppa and '19 VP, but I'll wait for the Frontignac next month to place my order. Besides, my cellar is growing faster than I can drink right now, so I may need to stop buying so prolifically.

On a semi-related note, does anyone have the inside word on the dates for the 2025 Barossa Vintage Festival? I'd like to book accommodation early as I want to head down with family and will probably need a house.

48 bottles of Alicante?? Do you bathe in it

I love the Alicante, its great when you still want a red but its too warm for a shiraz or cabernet.

I can only see those wines I haven't bought/reached allocation.
BP magnum is not usually listed (online), available to Stonewallers at/via CD only. [And if one was to visit CD tomorrow, you might find that it might be available 😉]
