Where to watch the AFL final in Hong Kong?

Somehow I managed to book a holiday to Hong Kong that includes the AFL grand final day.

I know my chances are slim, but does anyone have any ideas on where I might be able to watch the final?

The next mission is convincing the other half that we should spend a day overseas watching the final.

I did a search and fond this from around 18 months ago:

I found that the Kangaroo Bar in TST shows most of the AFL games available for the week through Australia Network. Only problem is the telecast is close to live, so many of the games are shown at about lunchtime. That's actually not too bad, because the bar's quiet and there's no chance of the game getting flicked for cricket or rugby or Premier League. The only time this might happen is when it's a night match (I guess management just plays whatever most punters want to see).

You might also try ****en's Bar below the Excelsior Hotel in CWB. It's an English style pub with loads of screens and they also show most matches.

I just happened to pop into a bar called The Canny Man in Wanchai last night after reading your thread. They had a big screen and a schedule up for all the AFL and Super 14 games that they are showing (looked fairly comprehensive). ...

The AFL has qite a good international footprint, in the case of the OP its is more than likely their hotel room will be a venue if the hotel has Australia Network programming on its channels:

Shouldn't be too tricky - Australia Network is pretty good. I managed to catch most of the AFL and NRL finals series (i'm bi-codeal) live or close to it in Thailand and Laos last year. I can't imagine Hong Kong will be too tricky.

I remember watching Bathurst in my hotel room in HK a couple of years ago so I can't imagine that the AFL Grand Final would be a problem. Thanks for the advice everyone. I'm staying at an IC property so I'm guessing they might have the Australia Network. I'm going to drop them an email to check.

There's also an Irish pub in LKF that will show the grand final. Can't remember the name - Bulldogs something or the other.

Thanks for this. I did a quick google search and it looks like they have one 200 metres from the hotel I'm staying at in Kowloon.

Actually, i've just done my maths and realised that i am going to be in Beijing on AFL grand final day. Anyone know where i'll find a pub full of aussies to watch it with?

Some of the pubs around TST will show the match.
