First 20,000 to register, looks like bank issued Amex's are included for a change :)

This week is $30 off any flight

[h=2]Check out great weekly deals with Virgin Australia*[/h] Register your American Express Card once and get access to great weekly deals. Once registered, check your inbox every Monday for that week's offer and then book a flight with Virgin Australia to get your guaranteed reward. You can take up an offer a week for as many of the 8 weeks as you like.

They reserve the right to limit it to one flight, kind of sucks!

Do you mean the

"American Express reserves the right to limit one $30 statement credit per Cardmember." ??

Reading the T&C's "Only transactions made for flight bookings, baggage allowance, in-flight purchases and lounge passes on the registered Card will be eligible to qualify for the $30 credit"

I really hope that baggage, on-board food and lounge passes are not the following weeks offers.... :(

Am I reading this different to everyone else?

^The terms and conditions for this week’s Offer (as defined below) are as follows:

I thought this all means that these terms and conditions are for this week's offer only, and do not hint at future weeks at all? One per card member makes sense as well, otherwise register all your supplementary cards and book a different leg on each card!

Registered, considering booking a discounted J fare in Feb. Makes for some pretty cheap status credits...

I wonder if a food purchase on a flight already booked would get it according to the T&Cs. Thinking maybe they don't provide that to AMEX. Another thread I posted suggested maybe you can book business and then cancel later at no cost

its mentioned somewhere that every Monday they will sent to your inbox that week's offer. I signed by late last Wednesday, not sure if I made it in time for the first 20,000 cut.

On Monday received no email. Did everyone else get emails, or would it be safe to say I'd missed the 20,000 boat?

Thrifty voucher this week

Need the convenience of a car for a regular business trip or family getaway? This week, book a Virgin Australia flight between 15 October and 19 October 2012, using your registered American Express Card and you’ll get $50 off your next car rental of 2 or more days with Thrifty. So you can go where you want to for less.
Hurry, offer valid for 5 days only from 15 October to 19 October 2012.

I think there will be several more 'spend $250 on a VA flight and get a $50 voucher for xx_'

It seems my first weeks credit turned up, but seems to have also reversed 60 points out of my MR account
