Yes saw this too. Applied for Signature even though I already have Platinum fee free for life. Great card to earn Krisflyer I think.

Was the best deal ever in 2008 when it appeared the first time. I couldn't get one then, but I'm damn sure not going to miss out this time!

Thanks for the heads up.

Damn. Just picked up the Platinum fee-free as part of the banking package so probably can't apply for this one.

Great offer though.

Cove why is this $395 and not $700?
Other than less income required and less annual fee, less earn rate..... This is different from signature select?
Is city rewards to Kris flyer free transfer at what rate? Qantas FF transfer they want $45 a year?
No ATO on this card or insurance payments points credited right?

$395 is the normal rate for Signature. $700 is the normal rate for Select.

Differences are mainly points earn.

I already have a Citi Select, anyone have any idea if I'd be able to add a signature (no increase in credit limit) without another credit application/Veda hit?

I have both cards, was about to dump the Platinum though. Any idea where this originally came from, whose family and friends is it really intended for (and I dont just mean OzBargain). May have to get my wife onto this though lack of signon points is a bugger.

How long does it take to get card…once applied if already a citibank plus card holder?
Does the following apply?????????

On this page:
http://www.citibank.com.au/aus/credit_cards/cards_signature….
(under Rewards tab)

Complimentary Rewards Program
Domestic: 1.5 reward points per $1 spent (if Balance Transfer offer is chosen) or 3 rewards points per $1 spent for 6 months (if Purchases offer is chosen). Reverts to 1.5 rewards points after the promotional period)
International: 4 reward points per $1 spent

Are all these benefits of normal Signature Card (with Annual Fee) are available on FandF offer?
- Free wine every time you dine with the Citibank Dining Program
- Complimentary Priority Pass™ Membership and two airport lounge visits per year8
- Discounted Airport Meet & Assist service

I'm an existing Citibank Signature holder, but they would not upgrade the account - so frustrating!!

They said that I need to apply for a new card and see how it goes

anyone know if these cards offer points for BPAY? Tried searching the FAQ but could not find an answer...

I have an existing plat card and love to upgrade to signature. Reading from the comments in ozbargains, no chance for existing cardholders to get them. Have anyone here tried called to the call centre and seek an advice?

I am an existing Citibank Platinum card holder fee free for life. I just applied the Signature card via the link last night. Just called Citibank and they said I don't need to provide any documentation and is already approved. They will send me the card over next few days.

So existing card holders can still apply, you just need to apply as new application rather than upgrade.

I have the WEDRQFCC for QF points, and a couple of Amex cards for Velocity points.

I will prob cancel the expensive Amex Velocity card in 4 months when due date comes up.

Would I be right in thinking this Citi Signature card would sort of replace the Amex Velocity?

You need to make sure you have held your existing card for more than 9 months before apply, I called them today and that's the answer from them. Unfortunately, I only got it for 4 months.

I called up after I applied online and they asked for all documentation (I'm an existing cardholder). Yes, they even requested ID too! It took me 5 mins to tell them that my ID was already verified

Same old Citi

That page also lists the reduced annual fee of $199, so I would assume that is you want to get the bonus reward points you'd need to pay the fees, but you could always call them and ask.

The wine from the dining program is explicitly shown (although in an ad-like manner) of the bottom of the page for me, so I'd assume you get that. I'm not certain about the other normal benefits, but I'd hope so.

I'm interested in this as well, more so in the complimentary Priority Pass Membership and two airport lounge visits per year.

It’s not listed on the deal, along with quite a few other features (as you’ve noted above) so I’m not sure if this card is a cut down version of the Citi Signature or the real deal.

I haven’t called but curious if anyone here who has applied knows?

the wine thing is available to anyone with a Citibank card, including the Citibank Plus debit card. only condition is that you nominally need to pay the bill with a Citibank card (no idea how well that is enforced).
