Last month I transferred 20k SPG points to my QFF account to pick up the extra 5000 bonus points before the changes later this year.

I now have 5483 points in my SPG account and when I logged in this morning to transfer them I can select the airline to transfer them to however the blue TRANSFER NOW button is missing. If I select any other airline it is there and I can transfer the points however with Qantas it is missing.

Anyone else had this problem?

Email has been sent to SPG and I will report back with the answer.

Alanslegal, thanks for the reply. That was actually why I was transferring the points.

Just hoping they haven't disenabled the website early by accident.

And here's their response:

Dear bravoecho1,
Thank you for your recent email concerning your Starwood Preferred Guest account. I welcome this opportunity to assist you.
We always want to be sure that you're pleased with our service so we've included a link to a brief survey at the end of this email. I would very much appreciate it if you could take a minute or two to let us know how we’re doing.
I have researched your inquiry and I must inform you that our partnership with Quantas has ended. It is for this reason you are not able to transfer over to this airline. I apologize for any disappointment you may have experienced as a result of this.
I have replied back them advising that the relationship doesn't end until the 15th of August.

I will keep everyone posted with their reply.

SPG have advised that the internet transfer functionality has been removed and that if you want to transfer points from SPG to QFF you will need to call their call centre.

Just a reminder that tomorrow (15/08/2008) is the cut-off for SPG points transfer to Qantas Frequent Flyer.
