I'm sure he'd have been diverted to the VIP Room in the F Lounge, more likely to have seen him on entry/exit/speeding to the gate in a cart

Maybe this should infamous but Frogger ADL and I saw Craig Thompson in the SYD J lounge on Monday afternoon

There is a VIP room in the MEL F lounge? Or are you talking about those private side rooms on the spa end...?

Actually, no cart at all that i saw. I was in 1 of the vip rooms on a work call and he was whisked into the other room (about 30 minutes before boarding). He was with his daughter and a couple of minders. They were all sitting in F, which still had a couple of empty seats. I spoke to him very briefly to offer condolences while we were both waiting to get changed before coming in LAX. He was first off in LA and i didn't see him again.

Not flying by any means but I was just driving out of a car park onto a street in Wahroonga (northern suburb of Sydney) when I had the Premier of NSW in my sights! I then remembered his office is just there.

I guess the thread title doesn't saying "lounging" where........so potentially OT,

The PM was staying at the hotel I was at yesterday and I had a brief encounter........

The encounter was way too brief to have us peering romantically into each others eyes, JT!

The encounter was actually a passing in the foyer as I was leaving (I had been there for lunch only and not even staying ).......but still, not every day one bumps into the PM quite accidentally!

EDIT: Actually I just realised.....I've now flown business with the leader of the opposition and rubbed shoulders (so to speak) with our PM in a fine hotel (well fine for POM that is)...........sort of feeling all full of myself at the moment ;) :p
