Famous people seen (or even met) whilst flying or lounging

hello!
new member so I'm still getting a little used to the aff forum!
recently returned from the states and whilst i was there i was seated in the row behind Charles Barkley (retired NBA player) on a flight from Boston to Minneapolis, also stayed in the same hotel that the San Francisco 49's had while they were in seattle for there playoff game against the sea hawks. 6 buses of players friends and family as well as a police escort!

Xavier Rudd in the OOL VA lounge this morning, my 23 month old strolled straight up to him and they had a cute exchange - probably helps that's she's been listening to him since being in the belly.

Hunters and Collectors on QF2022 to Armidale yesterday! Arrived over an hour late from Sydney but still made it for Day on the Green.

Yesterday saw Public Enemy flying MEL-SYD on VA.

I'm not sure if it counts if you have no idea who the person is, but there was a famous (just not to me) singer in 1k on QF1 as well. Partner joined him in F but entourage relegated to J. Also noted on departure that the entourage was allowed down the stairs to collect his hand luggage and depart via the F exit with him.

Obviously this famous person (just not to me) wasn't quite famous enough for any secret room in SYD as I saw them all in one of the F lounge meeting rooms.

I ran into him in the Hilton LAX bar a few years ago. The drunk girl next to me pointed him out. Yes, he had the clock on. Some people simply must rage against the dying of the light!

Not to sure if she is famous or not but watched Julia Gillard at LAX being escorted through immigration and customs a couple of weeks ago - didn't seem to have to bother with the details we less "famous" people have to go through.

You are onto something, she is infamous.

It is good (for her) that she is out of prison, but I really do not see the public fascination with her story. She will soon be a millionaire (if not already), so should be able to afford a nice villa in Bali or elsewhere in Indonesia to live out her parole.

At least the publicity should serve as a warning to others not to get mixed up in drugs in Indonesia (or any other jurisdiction for that matter).
