Auckland blues super rugby team were on an Air NZ flight from SYD - AKL yesterday. Didn't see much of them though they were stuck back in Y
Christopher Pyne in 1A on QF799 CNS-BNE today... he was heading back to ADL. He slept all the way!
Must have been [-]settling an investment property[/-] having a very important meeting with the whip.
John Schumann was in 4F on last Thursday night. Glad I agreed to the FA's request to let a platinum in Row 11 move into one of my 2 shadows. Apparently he has decided against going to Gallipoli on 25 April 2015.
Coz he's not only 19 any more?
Tom Waterhouse on VA894 SYD-MEL right now in 1A.
He was going to , but couldn't get hold of JohnK's flight schedule to shorten the odds.Did he give odds about the flight taking off on time?

John Borghetti was on EY451 SYD-AUH dep 12/2. He was in F of course... I only saw him as we were waiting to disembark and I saw him from the front row of J...
As he is the one signing the pay cheques* I expect he can sit where he likes.Interesting.
Domestically all VA staff are expected to fly Y on staff travel, and also on positioning flights... unlike QF where J cabins are often full of uniformed staff (QF and JQ).

*with due acknowledgement of EY, NZ et al.
It is very symbolic for him to sit in Y on domestic flights, along with the rank and file staffers (and customers for that sense).
A bit like Bob Katter flying down the back of the bus.
Indeed...
Of course I try to sit in Y as little as possible, but I am not a public figure
