Hello - I wanted to check if flying First Class on Thai Airways SYD-BKK which lounge is available? Is it only Air NZ or can I can access SQ's SilverKris Lounge?

My understanding is you can use the SQ lounge. In May the Thai check-in people only advised us the NZ lounge was availabe but when I asked about the SQ lounge they said we could also use it.

You can access any * members lounge if it's open.

Thanks so much for the replies - haven't flown a Star Alliance carrier for ages out of SYD and didn't know if they had a similar policy to OneWorld...will be nice to see the new SQ Lounge in SYD.

My recent experience was staff member at TG check in advised us to use the NZ lounge which I ignored went to the SQ First Lounge and was initially denied entry which I questioned, informed the lady at the desk of the lounge access rules and subsequently given access.
