Hi all,

You know how when you are doing a search you first put your residency in and sometimes by changing the country the prices are cheaper. Does this matter and is this checked? Or is the most important thing that you pay and have a valid drivers licence?

How do you think they check, seriously? All reports are that if you have paid they don't care.

I would be very careful changing the country of residence to obtain a lower rate. Whilst they may not check at the time of collecting the car, they may check in the event you damage the car, which may result in you being left without the benefit of any 'insurance'!
