I think the report is a little dated... SQ is no longer the only airline offering double beds... just saw the latest china eastern offering which now includes a double bed in first class. looks really good actually!

i admit I thought I had read it before somewhere... but assumed it was an old trip report of his now picked up by the media. now looks like he copied a lot of it :(
 
the boarding pass shows 17 September 2014, apart from the food shots, all the rest looks the same to me from last years trip on SQ F
 
Sorry for the post. I was just amazed by the pictures. wide angled or not

The picture I was most interested in was the main staircase with barrier rope at the top to stop people going down into the First cabin. Something which I think would be a good idea for QF. (The counter argument is that the barrier rope is potentially dangerous, although I suspect if it was a problem SQ would not still be using it).

TG use two curtains and two ropes on their A380 as a barrier to stop pax going up to the F cabin.

Maybe QF can invent a three ropes system ;)
