Is this new, or are the IT kids having a bad day?

I booked one of my WP upgrades earlier today, and checking my account discovered I have a $59.20 charge for the upgrade.

Has anyone else seen this before - I think I will be calling to get this cleared up.....

I had it happen on my CNS > SYD / SYD > CNS Flexi - Upgrade to business class with 9,900 points and it's not an actual charge to any of your credit cards. The lovely lady at Velocity explained it's just how the system processes the upgrade. She explained it better though.

I guess that's the designated cost to the Velocity 'entity' when it 'buys' from the upgrade from the Virgin Australia 'entity'.

Looking at a CNS-xBNE-MEL upgraded journey using two Platinum complimentary instruments I don't see this.
