Hi. I want to upgrade from iPad mini to a newer model any thoughts on best place to purchase and earn bonus QFF points / Myer / Virgin

also so do I go for the Mini 2 or the Mini 3 the 3 having 64 gig and the 2 32 gig only My current iPad has 32 and have managed so far

Prefer the mini ipads over the iPad air larger versions

thanks

There was not much of an improvement from the 2 to 3. 64 to 128 Gb granted, and the 3 does have Touch ID as well, but that was about it.

So the next model (mini 4) should be a much bigger improvement if you can wait. "Rumours" suggest the next couple of months.

Otherwise a mini 2 with 32Gb* now with the expectation is may be superseded sooner rather than later.

*Mind you, I would actually recommend the largest storage you can afford.

You can buy on qantas estore
Before Xmas they had bonus 5 points per dollar, might be lower now

Mini 3 has the same specs except for option for larger memory, fingerprint reader and option for gold colour, so mini 2 can be better value for some people

I always buy the smallest size ipad and use Seagate satellite storage .....

I wanted a mini from day one and then found out how lousy the screen was. Had to hold out and wait for the iPad Mini 2 which has been perfect.

Looked at upgrading to an iPad Mini 3 but its a total waste of time.

If you can wait for the iPad Mini 4 do so otherwise I would recommend the iPad Mini 2.

Thanks All, went for the Ipad Mini 2, ended up buying at the Apple Store in Chadstone, great service in and out in abut 1/2 hour and everything set up and transferred over.
