SYD Lounges on DL

Flying DL to the US soon and was wondering what lounges are available for a VA WP travelling in Y? The VA website suggests the NZ temporary lounge, and so does the DL website without even mentioning the new SkyTeam lounge for it's own elites. Has anyone had any luck getting into the SkyTeam lounge on a VA card or is that strictly for SkyTeam members only? I think I might use the Amex lounge over the NZ Temp Lounge if that is the case.

SkyTeam Elites will have access to the SkyTeam lounge as per the standard access rules... irrespective of Delta forgetting to update their website.

Unfortunately for VA Elites travelling on Delta we only have the NZ Temporary Lounge

As I suspected, think I'll give the Amex lounge a go this time round.

Well I can happily report I am now sitting in the SYD SkyTeam lounge as a VA SG on a DL flight in Y. The check in agent advised me that I had access. Boarding pass was scanned at entry and computer said yes!

Not mentioned on the VA website of course.... hoping its not a side effect of the system thinking you are a Delta Gold Member...

This is a good question, as the SYD Skyteam lounge is run by Plaza Premium. The same mob who runs the Amex lounge next door.
