When does status drop?

Hi all

With the collective experience and knowledge I'm hoping for a quick answer..

I understand status stays current until end of March each year.. I was expecting to drop today, should it have dropped already?

My account still shows diamond but the link to your Hilton Honours Card shows a silver card based on last years stays.But the elite status progress bar shows as "your 2016 year will be Gold".Currently sitting on 20 stays this year.

the slider thing on my profile has gone down to blue but status still listed as diamond.

That probably means you met requal for diamond last year, but need to reach it this year to have it until March 2017?

Mine is diamond, and the slider is at diamond, because I have requaled for this year.

Possibly, did about 30 nights last year and last time I looked was almost at Gold so maybe they are being nice?

I'm not sure if you noticed this thread. Perhaps you've been granted a challenge. Sign in via the link (if you haven't already) and see if you were selected and if so, for what.

Thanks for the heads up, nothing in my messages when I signed in to my account. For some reason it seems I have Diamond again till 2016. Didn`t get anything in the mail as we have moved house and I forgot to update my Hilton profile. Fingers crossed it stays at Diamond for another year.

Try signing in on this page rather than through your account. The page states you have to register to take advantage of the "exclusive" offer.

I have 4 stays booked in the next couple of months and since I have just dropped back from Gold to Blue - I would be interested in doing a Fast Track back to Gold if I can. I have found a few links to fast track but I am not sure it they are still available.

My questions are:

Now that I am Blue - can I use any of the following links (OK I cannot post the links because I have not posted enough to this forum) to Fast Track back to Gold.
Accenture
Carson Wagonlit(I have already used this once before)
MVP (this looks like it is only for US Hiltons but I will be staying all Australian Domestic)

OR is there another way to fast track?

unfortunately i dropped to silver - looking to gain back gold via australian hotel fast track- accenture link isn't working for me - managed to find carson wagonlit - will this work on australian bookings and will points stays count as 4 in 90 days or do they need to be cash based?

How did you go aupirate?

I had an interesting conversation with HH recently. Last year I had mostly regional Qld stays where Hilton doesn't exist, so my status was due to drop to gold. My stays this year quickly bumped me back to diamond, however due to a points posting issue with HH, my account briefly dropped to gold from 1 April (which was the reason I was talking to them). A comment was made that as I was diamond for the four years previous, I had been automatically granted a fast track back to diamond :shock:. Apart from the fact I had earned enough base points to requal the hard way and was still not showing as diamond (some fast track ), there was absolutely no notification of me having a fast track. No email, no note in my account, no letter, nothing!

EDIT: Just as a side note, the lady knew immediately how long I had held diamond status, so the information must appear fairly prominently on their screens for when they answer queries. I'd love to know what else they see right from the outset.
