Hi all!

So has anyone successfully used this any time recently?

The few times I have tried I have been told that VA have removed the waitlist functionality totally from their system.

The first time I heard it I thought the lounge staff must have been mistaken, however having now heard it from several lounges across the country I am starting to believe it. Its either you have a HK ticketed (confirmed) seat or you're not on that jet.

Yet it is still listed as a benefit and the fare rules say you can waitlist on a Y class ticket (I mean actual Y fare bucket)

Thoughts??

Looking at the fare rules for a full Y class domestic fare under " advanced reservations/ ticketing" state

For ticketing / reservations on/after 24AUG14
Confirmed reservations are required for all sectors
Ticketing must be completed at least 3 hours before departure.
OR
Confirmed reservations for all sectors and ticketing must be completed at the same time

So the fare rules do not allow waitlist
