I’m planning the big family trip for school holidays June/ July next year. I’ve been very lucky to find J flights for 4 to get us to Europe and now I have to find 4 J seats home around July 14-15.

Finding 4 J seats is hard obviously and we are prepared to split up on 2 separate flights, or 2 J & 2F.

I have a lot of points in Westpac & Citi credit cards that could be sent to Singapore, Velocity, Asia Miles or Malaysian. I only have 230 000 QF points left, as I used up most of those to get us to Europe.

We are happy to have a stop over in Dubai, Singapore, Hong Kong, KL, anywhere really.

So far from my research the best options seem to be Singapore and Cathay. I rarely see 2 seats on Emirates via QF. I don’t have much experience booking with Velocity and would be very happy to try Etihad.

I would greatly appreciate suggestions on the best way to get home using all points if possible. I realise it's early and a lot of the flights haven't loaded for July 2016 yet, so will keep checking QF & KF websites every day.

So far, these seem to be the best options with possible availability for 4:

ATH-LON LON-SIN with BA (avail at present only up to mid June)

ATH – Amman, Amman – Hong Kong with Royal Jordanian / Cathay

ATH or IST - SIN with Singapore

I don't have any experience booking with the middle eastern carriers and am not sure of exactly when those seats are released, so I'll be very happy to pay anyone who comes up with any out of the box suggestions I hadn't thought of that work out for us.

Success, partially.
Ended up booking Singapore Air, 2 J, 2 F
Shame we have to split up, but all on the same plane at least
