I would love to see TT return to CBR! If nothing else, to provide a bit of competition and bring prices down. Airfares to CBR are way too high.

I have never flown to CBR as a result of the expensive nature of the fares to this destination & always chosen SYD despite my folks living in the Southern Highlands which is situated between the two airports.

Hopefully, one day a LCC, will set up shop again in CBR and in the process put downward pressure on prices.

So so this weekend I took the family (6 pax) to the Gold Coast, SYD-OOL.

I travel for business over 150,000 miles p/a and I guess I'm spoilt with lounges, first class check in and so forth.

My first ever tiger flights, were quite frankly well above expectation.

Below is a photo of the checkin queue for tiger and Jetstar at the Gold Coast airport at 8am Sunday morning.

needless to say, i was so pleased with 4 kids to not be standing in the Jetstar queue.

both outbound and inbound flights ran a few minutes early.

based on this experience, I will fly them again.

Yes probably wishful thinking given the ultra LCC are owned by VA and QF - why would they cut their own grass .
