Hi Redroo
I was wondering when these flash fare are put online for sale. I received the sale email at 6:15 am and tried to look up 1 seat to Dallas for travel in the January period at 8:15 am but there is not a single flash fare available! The cheapest one way to Dallas was $1053 and one way back to Sydney was $988! So much for $1049. This makes the cheapest return fare of $2041!
If they did indeed go on sale at 6:15 am then this certainly appears to be bait advertising to me.
Looking forward to your response.
Cheers

might struggle with exact dates in January...seems plenty of availability across most of the date range though

The fares are available now on line. $1048 return.

so you don't get the sale fare on the date/s you want them...that's not 'baiting'...that's 'suck it up' and try other dates...the sale fares are available...I CAN SEE THEM

OR book on bestjet.com for $971.85 with no credit card fees on VISA/MC.

Is a $76.15 saving worth those bonus credit card points for booking on qantas.com or have you already purchased your gift vouchers last year at 10pts/$?

OR ultimately are you willing to test the price promise guarantee and double up with the saving plus a further 1000 points!?

Bestjet.com are ALWAYS cheaper than booking direct with Qantas.com.au and I have been successful in claiming the price promise on every occasions.

HINT: Be sure to include your screenshot with a date/time (often like macs have in the top right hand corner) or this can give them reason to refuse.

Very tempted to head to Quilt Market in SLC. This sale has bought the fares down considerably.

I found plenty of dates within the specified sale period for the lowest advertised fares.

2 very Campers here!

Lady Cool Cat & myself are off to New York at the end of January for a little under 2 weeks taking advantage of this stellar sale.

We have been recently thinking of another visit to Japan, but this deal was too good to pass up.

January is the month my QFF membership year resets, this trip also acts as a great way to get those SC's off to a good start :)

Ah yes.. there they are now. Just took a while for them to be available online.

I didn't select a particular date when searching, I asked for cheapest around the dates and there was no sign of the sale fares.

I just thought it was strange to email your customers about sale fares and then not have any available at the time the email was sent.

Question Answered..

Very good fares!

did anyone else notice that QF11/12 flight times have also changed??
