It's definitely an excellent weekend, and a big thanks to the organisers who have made it happen.

As for next year, if we want it to be in DRW, I would suggest doing it before mid-October, unless we like rain. However, PER stops raining around the time when DRW starts. There's only 1 Hilton property in PER though, I believe.

Actually JessicaTam and I have just spent an hour (+/-) discussing this and have come up with a cunning plan for DRW that works as well, if not better than PER. :shock:

I would also like to add my thanks to the hard working organisers who really did go above and beyond to arrange such a successful event, the guest speakers, prize givers and of course all the fantastic AFFers who attended. I just love catching up with members who I have got to know over the years and meeting new attendees. It's just a shame I didn't have time to meet everyone - the dinner and weekend got away from me!

Oh, and how lucky was I to win one of the fabulous prizes ?

I left me keys / ID's etc in the safe at the DT .... DOH !!!!!!!

I have touched base with kpc , who is flying back to SYD tonight . he has kindly offered to pick them up tonight when he drops tuapekastar back to the DT this afternoon after getting from their daytrip to Port Douglas & then I will meet kpc at SYD airport tonight
